Offering grown-up performance in kid-friendly sizes, colors and patterns, the Black Diamond Wiz gives young adventurers a high quality headlamp of their very own. The Wiz's two LED bulbs cast light more than 32 feet and its two AAA Alkaline batteries provide up to 35 hours of burn time.
A durable, rubberized toggle switch on the top of the Wiz's housing makes the headlamp easy to operate and allows your child to choose between the standard beam and a pulsing strobe setting. Though the beam of the Wiz is strong enough for backpacking and camping trips, it's also toned-down to allow for use in the backyard or indoors without blinding parents or neighbors! The Wiz is powered by two Alkaline AAA batteries (included). An auto-off feature turns the bulb off after 1 hour, protecting the life of your batteries if your child conks out for the night without having turned off the Wiz.
Sporting fun and flashy graphics, the elastic headband adjusts to enhance comfort and ensure that the Wiz remains securely in place while in use. The headband will release under force, preventing children from getting stuck. The housing of the Wiz is hinged so you can angle the beam as needed for the conditions and the task at hand.
Available in your choice of Orange or Fuchsia color options, the Black Diamond Wiz headlamp is water-resistant and suitable for all-weather use.
