New for 2009! Built for runners who aren’t bound by the rise and fall of the sun, the Black Diamond Sprinter headlamp is equally at home on city streets and backcountry trails. Powered by an integrated rechargeable battery, the Sprinter produces a strong, ovalized beam and has its own red “taillight” to make runners visible in urban settings. The taillight like can be turned off when not needed. The Sprinter is also a great option for the backpacker who also happens to be a runner and wants a single do-it-all headlamp.
A DoublePower LED lamp delivers 60 lumens on maximum setting, casting a beam up to 50 meters in length. The LED is regulated to ensure constant illumination. Dimming and strobe settings are also available, allowing you to maximize burn time or use the Sprinter for emergency signaling.
The Sprinter is powered by a lithium polymer rechargeable battery, saving you the expense, inefficiency and inconvenience of constantly purchasing throw-away Alkaline batteries. Varied adapters are included to make certain that you are able to recharge the Sprinter wherever you choose to take it.
An elastic headband adjusts to enhance comfort and ensure that the Sprinter remains securely in place while in use. An integrated top strap further enhances stability.
Available in your choice of Black or White color options, the Black Diamond Sprinter headlamp is waterproof to 1 meter and suitable for all-weather use.
