Updated for 2008! Combining a one-watt LED bulb with a reflective inner housing, the Black Diamond Spot is a surprisingly powerful compact headlamp. Multiple lighting levels and the ability to choose between the long-distance one-watt beam and the close-proximity lighting provided by three smaller LED bulbs make the Spot a versatile option for backpacking and camping trips.

The three LED setting casts a beam up to 62.3 feet and the one-watt lamp enables the Spot's beam to reach a maximum length of 164 feet! By adjusting the lamp settings, you can maximize efficiency, achieving a maximum burn time of 145 hours. An additional setting produces a strobe light for emergency signaling.

The Spot requires three Alkaline AAA batteries (included). Even with the batteries, the Spot weighs only 3.0 ounces.

An elastic headband adjusts to enhance comfort and ensure that the Spot remains securely in place while in use. The housing of the Spot is hinged so you can angle the beam as needed for the conditions and the task at hand.

Available in your choice of Pearl or Titanium color options, the Black Diamond Spot headlamp is water-resistant and suitable for all-weather use.
