The unique single-wall/double-wall hybrid design of the Black Diamond Skylight garnered it Outside Magazine's coveted Gear of the Year award in 2006. An integrated, roll-back canopy allows you to enjoy the beauty of stargazing on clear nights and full weather protection when weather is uncooperative.

With just over 36.5 square feet of interior space, the Skylight can serve as a cozy three-person tent or a spacious two-person tent. Lightweight, aluminum DAC Featherlite tent poles grant the Skylight strength and stability. Integrated, fast-connecting clips make it easy to attach the Skylight's tent body to the poles.

A large, zippered front entry opens wide to allow full access to the interior of the Skylight. Ample mesh on the door and top and side walls at the front of the Skylight provides excellent ventilation, especially when the canopy is rolled back. When completely unfurled and staked in place, the Skylight's canopy serves as an integrated vestibule, offering an additional 10 square feet of weather-protected storage space and a dry entryway to the main tent body.

The canopy of the Skylight is made of breathable, water-resistant EPIC fabric. This innovative fabric helps to combat condensation build-up and protects the interior of the Skylight from snow or rain. The SilNylon fabric used on the floor of the Skylight is extremely durable and completely waterproof. An optional footprint (sold separately) adds further protection against ground water, roots and rocks.
