Product Highlights

The Black Diamond Gizmo headlamp is an excellent balance of performance and price. The Gizmo's two SinglePower LED bulbs cast light up to nearly 50 feet and its two AAA Alkaline batteries provide up to 72 hours of burn time.

Dual settings allow you to choose the Gizmo's level of brightness and manage the expected burn time. An additional setting produces a strobe light for emergency signaling. The Gizmo is powered by two Alkaline AAA batteries (included).

An elastic headband adjusts to enhance comfort and ensure that the Gizmo remains securely in place while in use. The housing of the Gizmo is hinged so you can angle the beam as needed for the conditions and the task at hand.

Available in your choice of color options, the Black Diamond Gizmo headlamp is water-resistant and suitable for all-weather use.

    Likes: Very nice headlamp. Lightweight, comfortable, and love that the bulb has an unlimited number of output settings between low and high. Just press and hold, light output steadily adjusts until you find the right amount.

    Likes: Works well as a basic and cheap headlamp for around the campsite. It will light up the area immediately in front of you pretty well. The dimmest setting is good for reading or finding things inside your tent.

    Dislikes: The headlamp might not be powerful enough for serious night hiking. Also, you have to hold the button down for a couple seconds to get the light to dim, which can be annoying. At the brightest setting, the batteries will not last very long.
