New for 2013! With durability for reliable 3-season usage and the convenience of dual doors and vestibules, the Mad House 4 is an excellent option for family camping or base camp usage.
Measuring 85” x 92”, the Mad House 4 provides 54 square feet of interior space. A full coverage rainfly delivers weather protection and creates two sizable vestibules (12 sq ft each). Six sewn-in internal pockets provide a dedicated place to stash clothes and gear, enhancing the livability of the Mad House 4. Integrated gear loft loops offer a connection point for the Big Agnes Square Gear Loft (sold separately).
The body of the Mad House 4 is constructed of durable polyester rip-stop fabric and strategic mesh panels on the walls and ceiling allow air circulation to fight condensation build-up. Coated with waterproof polyurethane, the polyester floor and rainfly are extremely durable. All of the Mad House 4's seams are taped-sealed to further protect the tent from the elements. The Big Agnes Mad House 4 Footprint (sold separately) can be used to further protect the tent floor from mud, ground water and sharp objects like rocks, exposed roots and pine needles.
Three aluminum press-fit poles lend freestanding structure to the Mad House 4. Color-coded pole ends, grommet webbing and buckles make it easy to attach the poles to the clips and sleeves of the tent body. Twelve sturdy aluminum hook stakes are included to further secure the Mad House 4 in place.
