New for 2010! Offering reliable performance at a budget-friendly price, the Big Agnes Lynx Pass 2 is ideal for 3-season backpacking and camping. The Lynx Pass 2 boasts durable construction and livable features like interior mesh pockets, a large stowaway door and a spacious vestibule.

The Lynx Pass 2 provides over 36.5 square feet of interior floor space and the vestibule provides 17 square feet of additional sheltered exterior space for gear storage. The hub/pole design, comprised of lightweight, durable aluminum poles with press-fit connectors, allows the Lynx Pass 2 to maintain its peak height over a larger area than many other designs. The press-fit connectors reduce strain on the pole connections, reducing the likelihood of pole breakage. Interior mesh pockets serve as hideaways for gear, maximizing the usability of the available floor space.

The body of the Lynx Pass 2 is made of durable polyester ripstop fabric. Extensive mesh on portions of the sidewalls and ceiling panels increases cross ventilation and combats condensation build-up. All of the Lynx Pass 2's seams are tape-sealed and the fly and floor have polyurethane coatings to provide further protect against the elements.

The Lynx Pass 2's freestanding design allows you to set up the tent and then move it around your campsite to find the optimal position. No more sleeping on rocks or tree roots! Color-coded clip construction works in tandem with the hubbed poles to make set up easy. Guyline and stakes are included to help you further secure the Lynx Pass 2 and reflective highlights in the guyline provide nighttime visibility.

A custom-fit footprint (sold separately) can be used to further protect the floor of the Big Agnes Lynx Pass 2 against rocks, exposed roots, mud and ground water.
