Insulated with high-quality 600-fill goose down for 4-season use, the Big Agnes Ethel 0 Degree Women's sleeping bag is designed for the female camper or backpacker. Not your average sleeping bag, the Ethel 0 Degree Women's utilizes the Big Agnes System to offer more room at a lighter weight, while packing smaller than other bags.

The Ethel 0 Degree Women's is ergonomically tailored to fit a woman's shape with a wider cut at the hips and a shorter overall bag length. Additional insulation has been added to the foot box and the core area of the sleeping bag to account for those areas women most often find difficult to keep warm.

In a traditional sleeping system, the bag lies on top of a sleeping pad. In this configuration, many people find themselves rolling off the pad at night. Plus, the insulation on the bottom of the bag is compressed by the sleeper's weight. Once compressed, the fill loses most of its insulating properties. The Big Agnes System is different, joining the bag and pad together. The pad slides into a sleeve on the bottom side of the bag, supplying insulation to the bottom of the bag while the top 2/3 of the bag is insulated like a traditional sleeping bag. This design provides a secure foundation so you can roll, twist and turn freely during the night without ever rolling off your pad. It also prevents the bag from twisting and engulfing you in an uncomfortable mess.

The Ethel 0 Degree Women's is designed to be used with Big Agnes 20"-wide rectangular REM Sleeping pads. However, other branded pads with the correct dimensions will also work. Once you've matched your bag with a sleeping pad of the appropriate length and width, spending a night in the Ethel 0 Degree Women's-Petite is like sleeping in a bed with the mattress under you for comfort and the covers for insulation.

Thanks to the Big Agnes System, Big Agnes sleeping bags are roomier and lighter in weight than comparable, traditional sleeping bags. Adding to their usability, they also pack down smaller for easy packing and carrying. An insulated ergonomic hood, a draft tube located along the length of the zipper, and an insulated neck yoke lock in heat and keep out cold air to enhance the warmth and comfort provided by the Ethel 0 Degree Women's bag. A built-in pillow pocket holds a Big Agnes Air Core Pillow (sold separately), clothes or other pillows, providing a comfortable resting place for your head and neck.

Available in your choice of Petite (fits to 5'8") and Reg (fits to 5'10") and left or right side zippers, the Big Agnes Ethel 0 Degree Women's sleeping bag includes a nylon stuff sack and cotton storage sack.
