Boasting an impressive interior space to weight ratio, the 3-person Copper Spur UL3 is sure to appeal to ounce-counting backpackers who don't want to skimp on creature comforts.

Slightly tapered from the head to the foot of the tent, the interior of the 3-season Copper Spur UL3 measures 70" at its widest point and stretches a full 90" in length. With 44 sq. ft. of interior space and a trail weight of only 4 lb. 3 oz., the Coppper Spur UL3 can accommodate three or serve as a spacious 2-person tent. Dual integrated vestibules offer 18 total sq. ft. of additional weather-protected external storage space. Integrated gear loft loops offer a connection point for the Big Agnes Copper Spur Gear Loft (sold separately).

DAC Featherlite NSL aluminum poles are both lightweight and durable. The single hub/pole design works in conjunction with the tent body's integrated DAC Twist Clips to make setting up the Copper Spur UL3 fast, easy and intuitive. An additional short section of pole runs across the roof the Copper Spur UL3 and connects easily via an innovative HClip attachment, pulling the tent body taut, increasing the verticality of the interior walls and helping to improve the spaciousness of the two vestibules. An eco-friendly anodizing process is used by DAC to treat the poles without the toxic chemicals traditionally used on aluminum tent poles.

Ample mesh on the tent body and the large D-shaped doors maximizes cross ventilation and provides circulation to fight condensation build-up. Coated with waterproof polyurethane, the rip-stop nylon floor and rainfly are lightweight and durable. All of the Copper Spur UL3's seams are tape-sealed to further protect the tent from the elements.

Reflecting an overall commitment to maintaining as light a packed weight as possible, super-light x-peg stakes are included to further secure the freestanding Copper Spur UL3. If you really want to travel light, leave the tent body at home and use the rainfly alone with the optional Copper Spur UL3 Footprint (sold separately), a tarp-style set-up that weighs a mere 3 lb 4 oz!
