Product Highlights
Using Atlas' patent-pending Free-Rotating Suspension (FRS), Atlas 9 Series snowshoes provide natural articulation that allows your feet to comfortably adjust to flat or rolling terrain. This feature makes 9 Series snowshoes a great option for winter walking or day hiking.
Accommodating users of varied sizes, 9 Series snowshoes are available in two sizes. The 25 inch length is suitable for a total weight (user and gear) of 120-200 pounds and the recommended use range for the larger 30 inch length is 150-250+ pounds.
Supporting natural articulation and cushioning each step, FRS minimizes resistance and offers excellent freedom of movement. By allowing a wide range of motion, 9 Series snowshoes deliver comfort and traction for flat or rolling terrain. Comfortable Wrapp Trail bindings tighten easily and securely cradle your feet.
The 6061 aluminum V-frames deliver an efficient, natural stride. By tracking straight in deep snow and pulling less snow as you step forward, the noses and tapered tails of 9 Series snowshoes save you energy. Providing lightweight durability, flexible Nytex decking optimizes flotation. NOTE: A minimum base of 6"-8" of snow is suggested for usage in order to properly protect the integrity of the decking material.
Stainless steel Twin-Trac toe crampons employ a sturdy row of front points and side teeth to keep your foot from twisting. By providing sure footing on two planes, 9 Series snowshoes help maintain a straight and natural gait. Rear steel Tri-Cleats offer further traction support.
Atlas 9 Series snowshoes are sold in pairs.
