The Terrex Skyclimb Jacket is built from a waterproof/breathable, 3-layer, Climaproof soft shell material treated with Cocona, which is an active moisture management technology made from activated carbon from recycled coconut shells. The Cocona process is woven into the fibers, not sprayed on, so it cannot be worn or washed off and offers excellent evaporative cooling, fast drying times, odor management, and UV protection. Soft shell panels under the arms and at the back torso offer increased breathability in core, high-heat zones and help move moisture away from the body quickly. To better increase comfort and resist odor, these panels are 25% wool and treated with Cocona. Under arm venting zippers can increase breathability in mild conditions or uphill climbs. The full-vision hood, with adjustments at the face and around the head, offers complete weather protection from wind, snow and ice. adidas Outdoor combines their Formotion body mapping design with panel construction to get a close, exact fit while providing full range of motion during active sports or when using poles and ice tools.
The Terrex Skyclimb Jacket features two zippered Napoleon pockets, two zippered hand pockets and one internal pocket. The Terrex Skyclimb Jacket has an athletic cut that offers a streamlined fit for increased mobility, long stretching and quick movements. It layers well over base layers, fleece or lightweight insulation.
